It labels the extinguisher as a foam spray type, distinguishing it from other types (e.g. water, CO₂, dry powder). The fire extinguisher sign shows the specific fire classes the extinguisher is suitable for such as Class A: Fires involving solid materials like wood, paper, or textiles and Class B Fires involving flammable liquids like petrol or paint. All our safety signs are compliant with BS EN ISO 7010 where applicable.
