Do Not Extinguish With Water Signs are used to warn individuals not to use water to put out certain types of fires.  Water can react violently with some materials (e.g., oil, electrical equipment, or certain chemicals), making the fire worse or causing explosions. These signs help to direct people to use the correct type of fire extinguisher (such as CO₂, foam, or dry powder) appropriate for the fire type. All our safety signs are compliant with BS EN ISO 7010 where applicable.
