No Caps Signs are used to prohibit the wearing of caps or hats in specific areas. Caps can obscure parts of the face, making it difficult for security cameras or staff to identify individuals. Banning caps helps maintain clear visibility for monitoring and identification. In some settings, such as retail stores, banks, or public transport, caps are associated with attempts to conceal identity during shoplifting or other misconduct.
