No Hoods Signs are used to prohibit the wearing of hooded garments (hoodies) in certain areas. Hoods can obscure a person's face, making it difficult for staff or security cameras to identify individuals. Banning hoods helps improve visibility and surveillance. In some areas, especially shops, schools, or public transport, hooded clothing is associated with loitering, shoplifting, or other forms of disruptive behaviour. These signs aim to discourage such activity. All our safety signs are compliant with BS EN ISO 7010 where applicable.
